Buell / EBR 1125 / 1190 Lock Up Clutch Kit

Single Stage (Road) or Multistage (Drag Racing) available. The Helicon clutch package was originally designed for the 145 HP of the Buell 1125, so at the EBR 1190 the clutch gets even under normal riding to the edge. Stiffer clutch springs in combination with the Oberon easy hydraulic cylinder are a solution, but when hardest multi acceleration or even Drag racing is in the plan, the clutch package needs additional assistance. Our drag race development partners used very successful for some years a lock-up clutch based on the American MTC construction and components. MTC USA now granted NCCR a license to produce a road and strip version of that clutch system and together we made some adjustments and modifications for performance and reliability. Base of the system is a engine case extension what gives the extra room for the lock up mechanic. The extension is available for the 2021 Pre-order process in 3 different colors, black, red and blue, afterwards only in black. In that extra space a specialized pressure plate with a centrifugal lock up mechanic finds room, what gives as more pressure to the pressure plate as more the rpm goes up. That way the system prevents clutch spin under full load. Notice that the original Vacuum assisted slipper clutch system will be disabled with this kit. The system can be combined with the Oberon easy clutch hydraulic slave cylinder.
