We were looking for an low price alternative shocks that could replace the today fatigued and rosty shocks of the Japanese youngtimerbikes of the 70th and 80th. We found these Girling Replica shocks from an supplier in Taiwan what offers a usable quality for a fair price. The spring pre-compression can be adjusted with a hooktool (enclosed) in 5 different positions and a 2 piece springconcept is used to give the shocks a progressive reaction. The dampning works ok, you can expect a level of the original shocks of that time. We can supply these shocks with a chrome finish or in glossy black what makes them also an option for Customizing and Caféracer projects. The shocks came with a complete set of rubber inserts and bushings for different diameter mountings. The inner bushings are made from plastic, that’s a criticpoint we have, but it is easy to fix if you are a bit talented.
