NCCR Girder Frontfork

To combine traditional handcrafted work and design with a technical advanced functionality was the engineering goal of the NCCR Girder. Welded side plates made from Swedish SSAB steel high strength components Strenx, Docol and Toolox are the base construction. A special designed 7075 aluminium triple kit with hidden steering stop connects over 4 welded dog bones the components. With 4 bearings in each dog bone, all over 16 roller bearings generate a maximum rigid construction. NCCR is the Swedish importer of Wilbers Suspension Germany. That way we have access to special developed and individually build Wilbers Suspension components specifically designed for the new NCCR Girder forks. A dovetail layout lower fork end allows to connect the NCCR or any custom-made axle/brake adapters. That way the fork itself is universal and can be adapted to any kind of wheel and brake set-up. The side plates are individually designed for the customer and can also be varied in length.
