It must been in the very early 60´s when the riders at the International Sixdays Enduro Challenges had for the first time their handlebars reinforced with an horizontal bar. When end of the 60th Motocross start to be popular, these handlebars getting a "must-have" for serious Racing and later with the Scramblers, an Icon for the "I can go anywhere" attitude of that breed of bikes.
