NCCR Docol BACKBONE frame for Buell XB Rubber mounted

Manufactured in high strength Swedish SSAB Docol steel, NCCR´s BACKBONE frames are available for the Buell Uniplanar rubber mounting system for solid engine mount (Art.Nr. 200110). NCCR´s BACKBONE frame with Uniplanar rubber engine mount, offer all the stock advantages when riding your Buell Custombike project, regarding the minimization of vibration and best road feeling, by using the 100% stock tie bar geometry. The idea behind the backbone concept is to have a highly compact and in strength and flex easy to influence unit what carry all necessary functions to ride. The frame accepts Buell XB components, like fork, shock, swing arm, engine and exhaust. The motor need be converted to right side fuel delivery by injection or carburetor (manifold available). The BACKBONE frame comes ready to take the XB engine with all stock Uniplanar tiebars and a set of Timken style or OEM steering head bearings. A foot peg frame mount is optional available, what accept the stock Buell XB 3 point style foot peg plates, or all XB after market foot peg options. For an rear sub frame 4 mounting points are already prepared at the frame. Three different rakes are available, Buell XB, Buell XB-Ss and EBR 1190. NCCR BACKBONE frame, high precision laser cut DOCOL by SSAB high strength Swedish steel sheet metal and out of a solid bar of DOCOL steel machined steering head ready to accept a set of Timken bearings, all over TIG welded. Shock mount ready to accept stock Buell XB style rear shock, front thread insert to place stock front isolator bolt and the engine rear isolator block. All mounting points ready, to install the stock tie-bars. Frame comes with a detachable front subframe. Individual details, rear subframe, underslung frame loops, alternative shock mounts, twin shocks and finish, like powder coating available on request.
